Ras Al Khaimah joins the world’s most exclusive luxury travel networks
Dual memberships highlight emirate’s authenticity, sustainability, and hospitality strengths
RAS AL KHAIMAH – Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) has announced the emirate’s entry into Virtuoso and Serandipians by Traveller Made, two of the world’s most prestigious luxury travel networks.
This rare double acceptance confirms Ras Al Khaimah’s status among the most sought-after destinations for discerning travellers, placing it alongside global icons such as Santorini, Kyoto, the Amalfi Coast and the Serengeti.

Membership in both networks is strictly invitation-only and reserved for destinations, hotels and travel experts that deliver the highest standards in luxury and experiential travel. Selection is based on authenticity, sustainability, service quality and overall visitor experience. With this move, Ras Al Khaimah joins an elite group of destinations in the region able to access influential global travel advisors and luxury providers shaping bespoke journeys.
What sets it apart?
Ras Al Khaimah’s acceptance highlights more than its hospitality offering. The emirate demonstrated cultural depth, unique experiences and a strategic roadmap for luxury tourism growth. A robust pipeline of developments, including high-profile hotel openings, positions the destination to expand its reach in the competitive global market.

“Becoming part of Virtuoso and Serandipians marks a pivotal moment for Ras Al Khaimah as it continues to evolve as a destination,” said Iyad Rasbey, Vice President – Destination Tourism Development, RAKTDA. “These partnerships will showcase the emirate’s exceptional blend of nature, culture, and hospitality to a global audience of travellers who value authenticity, exclusivity and meaningful experiences.”
How is the luxury offering expanding?
The emirate is home to properties by world-class brands such as Waldorf Astoria and The Ritz-Carlton, with recent arrivals including Anantara Mina Al Arab and Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort.

Future additions from Wynn Resorts, Four Seasons and Nobu Hotels are set to expand its portfolio even further.
Where do experiences stand out?
Beyond luxury stays, Ras Al Khaimah offers standout activities that combine adventure and heritage. From riding the world’s longest zipline at Jebel Jais, the UAE’s highest peak, to sunrise hot-air balloon flights, desert stargazing and cultural encounters at the Suwaidi Pearl farm, the emirate blends nature, adventure and tradition into a distinctive luxury experience.
